Absence
Between us, yet within us, lies an emptiness that eludes us. It is there, but it cannot be grasped: a suspension in space, a movement between reality and memory. Like water, it flows, reshapes itself, drifts, submerges, returns, never the same, never tangible.
We feel it as the echo of a presence that dissolves the moment we try to seize. This inner abscence creates spaces between us, translucent, vibrating, breathing.
In the interactive exhibition conceived by Barbara Klampfl and Hannes Buchwieser multiple layers of projection touch and overlap with the room, simultaneously filling it and opening it. The individual perspectives are projected onto delicate membranes that move within the space.
Visitors become part of the work, stepping inside, casting shadows, inserting voids. Each one of us carries them—these spaces, these intangible moments in which we ourselves are suspended and that is for each person to decide.
[ EMPTINESS in FULNESS ]
Emptiness as an opportunity for growth and self-realization.
