Some Other Space (also know as SOS) is 46m2 space in Charlois in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Some Other Space has a street-side door and a big window. Three light bulbs with a color temperature of 4000 Kelvin and 1521 lumens are currently installed.
Some Other Space is a hybrid space that hosts art exhibitions, performances, musical performances, video screenings and local events connected to the community of Charlois. When dealing with the arts, the curatorial approach mostly deals
with open processes and approaches beyond surfaces.
Some Other Space is run on a purely voluntary basis and has a non-profit policy.
Some Other Space is founded by JOAK Joseph Knierzinger.
Inherited by Emanuele Arrigoni, current owner and curator & co-curated by Claudio Castro Chaponan.
Some Other Space is under the patronage of Rotterdams Instituut Voor Kunsten
Some Other Space is open to suggestions.
