Sidereus is a work that seeks to suggest without speaking. A medium-lenght film devoted to silence, that attempts to dig into the inner self of those who watch it, insistently, even with a certain degree of harshness.
The film portrays the relationship that humans have with the environment, a space that they occupy but often do not inhabit, and with science, technology, and the irresistible power of their means.
Both admiration and distrust are cast towards the great scientific discoveries and the increasingly sophisticated technological instruments that humanity produces.
Two men spend their days in a place suspended in time and space, near some large satellite dishes pointed towards the sky. They appear to be waiting for something that never comes. Their gaze is locked on the satellite dishes and their lives are absurdly and coincidentally intertwined.
A furtuitous accident reveals the existence of another local inhabitant, the radio waves emitted from the antennas towards outer space, one of the two men is shocked, his extreme curiosity pushes him into the edge of the unknown.
